About this lecture:

The lecture gives an introduction to experiments on the foundations of quantum physics. After decades of discussing “Gedankenexperiments” the recent advances in atomic and quantum optical experiments enabled us to make these proposals real. Starting from basic interference experiments we continue with various experiments on the measurement problem and conceptual issues. Along the way we meet the various experimental techniques like experimenting with single photons, atoms or ion, and cavity electrodynamics.
